Megaport Limited is an Australia-based Network as a Service (NaaS) provider. The Company’s principal activity is the provisioning of on-demand interconnection services. Its global Software Defined Network (SDN) helps businesses connect their digital assets and infrastructure to network services via an easy-to-use portal or open Application Programming Interface (API). The Company offers agile networking capabilities. Its products include Megaport Internet Port, Virtual Cross Connect (VXC), Megaport Virtual Edge, Megaport Firewall as a Service Hosting (FWaaS), NAT Gateway, Megaport Cloud Router (MCR), Megaport Market Place and MegaIX. Port is a high-speed ethernet interface acting as a network-to-network interface between a user and the Megaport network. MCR is a managed virtual router service. VXCs are Layer 2 Ethernet connections provisioned for around 60 seconds to any of the endpoints on the Megaport network.
