- 01TrafficGuard now detects fraud in ChatGPT ads.
- 02Customer rollout talks are underway.
- 03US partner adds telecom and retail clients.
Adveritas Limited (ASX: AV1) has extended TrafficGuard's ad-fraud and invalid traffic (IVT) detection capability to advertising activity associated with OpenAI's ChatGPT, broadening its reach into an emerging AI-driven advertising channel and expanding the platform's potential market reach.
The capability is live and enables TrafficGuard to analyse ads served inside ChatGPT, detect invalid or bot traffic referred from ChatGPT to customer sites, and verify ChatGPT-originated paid clicks and conversions.
Adveritas is in discussions with an initial group of customers to include the new capability within their TrafficGuard product suite and fee structure.
Separately, a US-based channel partner has delivered a number of new clients across telecommunications, retail, and other sectors, further diversifying TrafficGuard's customer base beyond its established sports betting and gaming core.
ChatGPT Capability
Adveritas considers advertising within AI products such as ChatGPT a new source of potential IVT and ad fraud that traditional verification tools built for search and social channels may not address.
Adveritas cited figures showing ChatGPT annualised advertising revenue had reached US$1 billion at 31 August 2026, around 200 days after ads were launched within the product.
It also cited unverified third-party market data forecasting US$2.5 billion in advertising revenue during 2026, rising to US$11 billion in 2027, US$25 billion in 2028, US$53 billion in 2029, and US$100 billion by 2030.
Adveritas believes the rapid expansion of advertising within AI products can materially increase TrafficGuard's total addressable market and create further revenue opportunities as new fraud patterns emerge.
TrafficGuard already provides real-time protection across Google pay-per-click campaigns, mobile app user acquisition, affiliate networks, and social media, with its technology designed to detect and block invalid traffic before advertising spend is wasted.
Broadening Customer Base
Predominantly located in the US, the new clients generated through the channel partnership add exposure to telecommunications, retail, and other industries.
The additions—which follow recent growth in North American e-commerce, retail, and agency customers—support Adveritas' strategy of reducing reliance on any single customer segment over time.
“Extending TrafficGuard's protection to cover advertising within ChatGPT represents a substantial expansion of our addressable market,” co-founder and chief executive officer Mathew Ratty said.
He added that AI advertising could become the company's most material revenue line, while channel partnerships continue to broaden TrafficGuard's customer mix beyond sports betting and gaming.
