Wide Open Agriculture (ASX: WOA) has announced it has received and shipped initial orders placed by supermarket giant Woolworths Group (ASX: WOW) for its Dirty Clean Food branded Original Oat Milk.

The regenerative food and farming company inked the distribution deal late last year to supply its range of carbon neutral, regenerative oat milk to more than 500 Woolworths stores.

Today’s update confirms the rollout will be expanded to more than 650 stores nationwide.

Dirty Clean Food chief executive officer Jay Albany said he hopes this is the start of a long and mutually beneficial partnership with Woolworths.

“The increased store ranging demonstrates Woolworths’ support for companies who are promoting innovation and positive environmental practices in Australia,” he said.

Dirty Clean Food Oat Milk is already on shelves in the chilled section of many Woolworths stores and is anticipated to be arriving in a majority of ranged locations over the next three weeks.

Wide Open Agriculture said it now expects its Dirty Clean Food Oat Milk to be sold in more than 1,000 locations around the globe by the end of April, ahead of schedule.

Recent distribution deals

The company has also secured distribution deals with GrowHub in Singapore, MKMI in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, and most recently with Metro Alliance in Hong Kong and Macau.

Sales from the combined agreements are estimated to have a $2.1 million per annum minimum commitment.

Wide Open Agriculture managing director Dr Ben Cole said the deal aligns with Woolworths’ Sustainability Plan 2025, which reflects a commitment to encouraging regenerative farming practices and to achieving net carbon positive emissions by 2050.

“We are grateful for their support of our initiative to produce the world’s lowest carbon oat milk made from regeneratively farmed oats, grown and rolled in Western Australia,” he said.

Wide Open Agriculture expects to provide further updates on its business including the status of its plant-based protein and milks manufacturing initiatives in its upcoming third quarter results.
