Warriedar Resources Expands ‘Golden Corridor’ in WA with Promising Drilling Results

Warriedar Resources (ASX: WA8) has further expanded its “Golden Corridor” in the Murchison region of Western Australia with positive satellite drilling at its Golden Range project.
The company drilled a total of 20 holes across Golden Range during the second quarter of 2025, including 13 at the M1 prospect, five at the Valencia deposit, and two at Goldener Grove.
In the wake of Warriedar’s successful growth-focused drilling at its flagship Ricciardo deposit over the past two years, the latest results mean the Golden Corridor – the company’s key focus area within the Golden Range project – now hosts an existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of approximately 2.22 million ounces of gold equivalent.
MRE Growth Potential
The M1 deposit, which is located immediately alongside the existing Golden Range processing plant, is one of a number of targets the company is investigating for MRE growth potential alongside Windinne Well, Azure Coast and Bugeye.
Drilling at M1 delivered mineralisation outside the current MRE of approximately 27,400oz at 2.9 grams per tonne gold, with highlight intercepts including 8m at 3.77g/t from 28 metres, 8m at 2.36g/t from 40m, and 8m at 1.79g/t from 213m.
Drilling at Valencia, which is located immediately south of the Ricciardo deposit and has an MRE of 24.5Mt at 2.5 g/t gold equivalent, intersected 8m at 2.42g/t from 27m and 11m at 1.23 g/t from 56m.
While the two holes Warriedar drilled at the Goldener Grove prospect returned no significant intervals, the company is planning downhole electromagnetic surveys to search for conductive mineralisation in that zone.
Comprehensive Program
Chief executive officer Amanda Buckingham welcomed the more comprehensive coverage from the latest program.
“Following on from our recent Windinne Well results, it is pleasing to see further positive results from our other deposits within the ‘Golden Corridor’ at Golden Range,” she said.
“While some of this drilling was undertaken to confirm historical data, we are happy to have been able to validate these results.”
Warriedar’s current drilling activities continue at Ricciardo, although it says recent extensive wet weather in the region has had an impact.
