Vection Technologies (ASX: VR1) has secured $500,000 in new artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR) contracts with three global retail brands.

The company will supply its products including the new Shelfzone platform to Natuzzi, Nestlé and Agrifarma.

Designed for the retail and fast-moving consumer goods sectors, Shelfzone integrates AI and XR to offer virtual simulations of retail spaces, allowing brands to optimise product placement and enhance in-store engagement.

Immersive simulations

The $400,000 Natuzzi deal involves the development of immersive simulations and digital twin technology.

It will commence immediately, with delivery expected in the second quarter of 2025.

Vection’s collaboration with Natuzzi positions its AI and XR ecosystem as a transformative tool in the luxury furniture market, where Natuzzi aims to redefine the customer experience while opening strategic opportunities in complementary business sectors.

Consumer engagement

Nestlé has also renewed its two-year Shelfzone licence, which has an annual recurring revenue value of $50,000.

The renewal reflects the confidence Nestlé has in Vection’s immersive retail solutions.

The contract requires Vection to create custom 3D content integrations and deliver new point-of-purchase materials and product assets to enhance in-store consumer engagement.

Pet store layout

New client Agrifarma, Italy’s leading pet store chain, has partnered with Vection to create an updated store layout using Shelfzone.

Vection has secured a $50,000 pilot project to leverage Shelfzone’s immersive capabilities to enhance Agrifarma’s store layouts, customer experiences and in-store strategies.

The contract will commence immediately, with delivery expected in the second quarter of 2025.

Measurable value

Managing director Gianmarco Biagi said Vection’s solutions would deliver measurable value to its global clients.

“Our partnerships with Nestlé and Natuzzi highlight the growing importance of our AI and XR ecosystem across industries,” he said.

“Nestlé’s continued use of Shelfzone and Natuzzi’s strategic adoption of our XR solutions demonstrate the scalability and versatility of our technology.”

He added that the company would remain focused on enabling innovation for its clients across a range of industries.
