Vection Technologies wins $4.4m repeat INTEGRATEDXR contract for large global defence contractor

Vection Technologies (ASX: VR1) has delivered a $4.4 million repeat order for mission-critical information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and AI-enabled analytics to a Top 10 global defence contractor.
The solution stack integrates secure ICT infrastructure with Vection’s INTEGRATEDXR platform and builds on a $1m proof-of-concept award in March with the same contractor, which at the time flagged that a successful pilot supply contract could lead to a full $30m tender.
Vection expects to recognise approximately $3.8m in revenue from the repeat order during the 2025 financial year, with the balance delivered over the following 12 months.
Deeper NATO role
Vection managing director Gianmarco Biagi said the repeat award deepened the company’s role inside the authorised NATO Tempest production chain and validated the INTEGRATEDXR workflow for real-time, data-driven defence operations.
“Transforming our pilot program into recurring orders within the NATO Tempest supply chain highlights the trust we have built with one of the world’s largest defence contractors,” he said.
“It is a strong indication that this client will continue with the full tender through to 2030.”
Security priorities
Increasing geopolitical instability is prompting militaries to implement AI-driven, extended reality (XR)-enhanced workflows that can handle extensive real-time data sets.
“As security priorities in Europe become more urgent, customers are expanding their capabilities to oversee and safeguard critical assets and national perimeters,” Mr Biagi said.
“INTEGRATEDXR is exceptionally equipped to address this demand.”
Safety compliance deal
Vection has also signed a $2.6m agreement with Area12 Consulting to deliver the Safe-XR safety compliance platform for a prominent industrial client in Italy.
The platform will employ Vection’s Algho AI software to power real-time voice interaction, regulation parsing and contextual support through smart glasses that enable hands-free inspections with augmented reality overlays, guided interactive checklists and remote expert collaboration.
Algho’s emotional intelligence will adapt the support based on user behaviour and environmental context.
Perpetual licence
The agreement includes a perpetual Algho licence, three years of support and maintenance and the delivery of custom software and hardware.
Mr Biagi said the Area12 deal would strengthen Vection’s position in AI-driven compliance and industrial automation amid rising global regulation.
“Safe-XR fulfils the potential of AI and XR to revolutionise industrial safety management, making it more intelligent, efficient and humane.” he added.
