Vection Technologies (ASX: VR1) has secured a $22.3 million multi-year master framework agreement for the supply and integration of its advanced INTEGRATEDXR platform and related solutions to a repeat customer and partner within the European defence sector.

The undisclosed customer supports major European defence integrators and solution providers as a certified vendor to the Council of Europe and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).

The agreement builds on an established relationship between Vection and the customer and brings Vection’s aggregate Australian defence program value to $40m.

INTEGRATEDXR Platform Integration

The solution stack provided under the framework will integrate the customer’s secure information and communications technology (ICT) with Vection’s Australian-developed INTEGRATEDXR platform.

The customer is expanding its capabilities to oversee and safeguard critical assets in light of increasingly-urgent security priorities across Europe.

After a successful pilot phase last financial year, it will use the platform’s virtual, augmented, mixed, and extended reality features to support the monitoring and oversight of critical defence assets.

‘NATO Tempest’ Chain

Vection managing director Gianmarco Biagi said the repeat order deepened the company’s role inside the authorised “NATO Tempest” production chain.

This refers to a secure supply arrangement for components and systems that must meet stringent standards to prevent eavesdropping on sensitive information through electromagnetic emissions.

“This framework strengthens Vection’s long-standing relationship with a trusted European partner in the defence ecosystem, expanding our solutions and our role in the defence sector,” he said.

“It provides a clear programmatic path through to 2030, with a portion already delivered and further significant orders on the way.”

Clear Path for Ongoing Collaboration

Mr Biagi said the agreement would also provide a clear path for ongoing collaboration and structured order flow over the coming years.

“Beyond the financial metrics, it enhances our trusted position within the European defence ecosystem, and builds on our reputation for delivering to reputable partners and institutions across the region,” he said.

The agreement – the largest Vection has signed to this point – can be extended up to a limit of $29.5m and requires no additional capital outlay.
