Canyon Resources Limited is an Australia-based bauxite resource development and exploration company. The Company is focused on expediting the development of the high-grade Minim Martap Bauxite project in central Cameroon through its wholly owned subsidiary, Camalco Cameroon SA (Camalco). The Company’s 100% owned Minim Martap Bauxite project is a global direct shipping ore (DSO) project development opportunity. The project is located in central Cameroon and situated near the main rail line linking the region to the Atlantic port of Douala. The project seeks to produce up to 6.4 metric tons of bauxite per annum. The Minim Martap Bauxite Project comprises the Makan, the Ngaoundal and the Minim Martap exploration permits. The Minim Martap and Makan permits are adjacent and are located around 25km from Ngaoundal permit. These permits cover an area of approximately 981 square kilometers (km2).
