Altoro Metals Limited, formerly Variscan Mines Limited, is an Australia-based exploration company focused on advancing a portfolio of zinc and poly metallic projects in Spain. The Company's flagship Novales-Udias project in Cantabria encompasses the San Jose underground mine and a mineralized district with exploration potential. It is located in northern Spain's Basque-Cantabrian Basin, approximately 30km south-west of Santander. The Novales-Udias project is centered on the 12 kilometer (km)-long mineralized Novales Trend, a corridor hosting multiple historic workings and zones of zinc anomalism. The Company is also advancing the Guajaraz Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu Project in central Spain. The Guajaraz Project is a brownfield zinc-rich poly metallic opportunity located in the central zone of the Iberian Massif positioned approximately 60km south-west of Madrid. It has various exploration joint venture agreements to explore copper, gold, zinc, lead, and uranium in Australia.
