Sprintex lands record $17.5m G Series blower order for the UK as global growth accelerates
Perth-based Sprintex (ASX: SIX) has secured its largest order to date with a $17.5 million commitment from industrial air solutions provider Air End Repair to exclusively distribute its cutting-edge range of G Series blowers across the UK.
The company has confirmed an initial order totalling $125,750 under the five-year deal, which is subject to extension by mutual agreement.
It contributes to a total of $30m in current global minimum orders Sprintex has achieved through recent distribution agreements with customers in the UK, Türkiye and India.
Industrial expansion
Sprintex managing director Jay Upton said the new agreement was a “transformative milestone” that marked the company’s expansion into the UK’s industrial market.
“Partnering with Air End Repair’s industry expertise and infrastructure ensures a strong foundation for our success in the region,” he said.
“We are confident this collaboration will drive shareholder value and further establish Sprintex as a global leader in innovative and energy-efficient blower technology.”
India distributorship
Sprintex also appointed Euroteck Environmental this week as the exclusive distributor for G Series blowers in India, under a three-year agreement worth $7.16m.
This follows Euroteck’s trial of five G15 jet blowers, which were assessed as being able to meet the operational and efficiency demands of the nation’s key industries.
The deal targets India’s expanding turbo blower market, which was valued at over $150m in 2024 and currently faces challenges such as high upfront costs and extended payback periods.
Cost-effective solutions
Euroteck will plan for the local assembly and retrofitting of up to 3,000 existing systems to provide cost-effective solutions tailored to regional needs.
Euroteck executives also plan to visit Sprintex’s manufacturing facility in China to discuss additional opportunities for collaboration.
Mr Upton said the agreement marked a pivotal advancement in addressing India’s growing demand for industrial efficiency and sustainability.
ZLD-UP testing
In September, Sprintex completed hot environment testing of the ZLD-UP (zero liquid discharge universal process) ammonia-reduction technology developed for the agriculture industry by Dutch company Mest Water.
Phase One testing, carried out at a specialised high-temperature facility, demonstrated that Sprintex’s custom-built compressors could meet performance stability targets under inlet temperatures of up to 90°C.
Sprintex will now deliver the first 20 of a total 400 custom compressors for Mest Water’s launch customer under a contract valued at $1m.
Emissions reduction
Mest Water’s technology addresses the critical need for efficient ammonia emissions reduction in livestock farming, particularly in countries with stringent environmental regulations.
Before the availability of Sprintex’s advanced compressors, previous prototypes had not been energy-efficient enough to be economically viable.
Sprintex anticipates the collaboration with Mest Water will revolutionise thousands of livestock farms across Europe by providing a solution that meets efficiency and regulatory requirements.
“This partnership is expected to play a pivotal role in reducing ammonia emissions in European livestock farming and create substantial market opportunities for Sprintex and Mest Water,” Mr Upton said.
