SportsHero Signs Exclusive Agreement With Yes2Games For Mobile Gaming Distribution

SportsHero (ASX: SHO) has moved into the mobile gaming market by signing an exclusive content distribution agreement with Singapore-based Yes2Games.
The deal covers globally recognised mobile titles such as Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride and Dan the Man for distribution in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.
Yes2Games holds the global exclusive licence to the web versions of Halfbrick Studios’ game library, which has achieved almost two billion downloads worldwide.
Expanding Product Offering
The agreement extends SportsHero’s reach beyond its current PC gaming business into one of the most dynamic segments of the gaming industry.
By adding a suite of world-famous mobile games to its line-up, the company aims to tap into an audience that is significantly larger and more engaged than its existing customer base.
SportsHero plans to integrate the new mobile titles into its established telecommunications channels in Indonesia and the Philippines, while exploring expansion into other South-East Asian markets.
This builds on its existing relationships with major telco partners, which currently distribute its iGV.Com Family Game Pass PC product.
Under the commercial terms, Yes2Games will receive a monthly minimum licensing fee and a share of revenue, while providing all technical and compliance support to ensure smooth integration and delivery across multiple networks.
Globally Recognised Games
Halfbrick Studios’ flagship titles have built strong international followings over more than a decade, with Fruit Ninja alone exceeding one billion downloads and becoming a cultural touchpoint, appearing on one-third of all US iPhones by 2012.
Its sequel, Fruit Ninja 2, has maintained momentum with millions of downloads and strong user reviews.
Jetpack Joyride, another Halfbrick hit, has recorded over 750 million downloads, cementing its status as one of the most-played mobile games of all time.
Dan The Man has amassed more than 110 million downloads across Google Play and the Apple App Store, becoming a staple in the arcade platformer genre.
The portfolio also includes Yes2Games’ original IP, NSR Street Car Racing, which drew one million users in its first week of web release, underscoring the strong appeal of both classic and new titles in the region.
Significant South-East Asian Market
The South-East Asian mobile gaming market is substantial, with around 286 million mobile players representing about 66% of the region’s total gaming population.
This makes it one of the largest player bases globally, comparable in size to those of Europe and North America.
SportsHero chief executive officer Tom Lapping said combining Yes2Games’ high-profile content with the company’s distribution network would create a powerful growth platform.
“We are well-positioned to capture a piece of this potentially very large opportunity over the coming months and years,” he said.
Yes2Games co-founder Tanu Gulati added that the partnership was a strategic move to reach “hundreds of millions of gamers” in a fast-growing region where quality content is central to market success.
