Drone technology services company RocketDNA (ASX: RKT) has secured an 18-month contract extension valued at $705,000 with Vault Minerals (ASX: VAU) to provide ongoing integrated aerial data services at the King of the Hills gold operation in Western Australia.

The 18-month agreement — signed between RocketDNA’s WA division and Vault subsidiary Greenstone Resources (WA) — will expand the existing contract to include RocketDNA’s xBot remote and fully-autonomous drone capabilities and automated data processing workflows.

Vault will deploy the cutting-edge technology alongside RocketDNA’s proprietary SiteTube platform, with operational support delivered onsite and remotely from teams in Perth and Adelaide.

Contract Extension

RocketDNA chief executive officer Christopher Clark said the company was pleased to have secured an extension to its existing contract with Vault.

“This reflects Vault’s confidence in our service and marks a milestone in integrating remote autonomous operations into daily mining workflows at King of the Hills,” he said.

King of the Hills has been a proving ground for xBot hardware, and Vault an early adopter of the SiteTube platform.

“The value-add from these technologies has culminated in this long-term commitment, and the addition of our automated data processing workflow has further strengthened our long-standing partnership with Vault,” Mr Clark said.

Estimated Revenue

The new contract will have an estimated annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $470,000, with different components based on usage rates.

The estimated total contract value and ARR assume utilisation of all services at current levels, delivered under individual purchase orders at the agreed-upon contract pricing and also incorporates a 90-day termination notice period.

Vault Minerals is an intermediate gold producer with operations in Australia and Canada.

Its key assets in WA include the Mount Monger, Deflector and Leonora developments (comprising the King of the Hills open pit and underground mines and processing facility, along with the Darlot underground mine), while in Canada the company owns and operates the Sugar Zone gold project.
