Resource rising stars on show at upcoming Gold Coast conference with David Koch headlining
A number of well-known financial specialists will join quality junior and mid-cap miners on 3 and 4 September for the popular Resources Rising Stars Gold Coast event at the RACV Royal Pines Resort.
The free-to-attend investor event will provide two days of in-depth knowledge on where the mineral commodities market is heading, along with first-hand information on a range of up-and-coming mining companies.
High-profile speakers to share insights
Headlining the line-up is leading business and finance commentator David Koch, co-host of Australia’s number one breakfast TV program Sunrise for 21 years.
Other keynote presenters include Bell Direct’s Grady Wulff – who specialises in providing in-depth market insights and analysis, as well as identifying trading and investment opportunities for Bell Direct’s clients – and Lion Selection Group (ASX: LSX) chief executive officer Hedley Widdup, one of the nation’s most respected investment managers.
Showcasing junior and mid-tier resource stocks
This year’s event will also showcase an exceptional line-up of junior and mid-tier resource stocks, offering investors a unique chance to engage directly with company executives and hear their stories first-hand.
Mining companies providing updates on their progressive exploration and development activities include Bellevue Gold (ASX: BGL), Boss Energy (ASX: BOE), FireFly Metals (ASX: FFM) and Spartan Resources (ASX: SPR).
Program highlights and keynote speakers
The program will kick off on Tuesday at 8.40am with a keynote address from Ms Wulff, followed by a rundown on the lithium success story of Patriot Battery Metals (ASX: PMT) presented by chief executive officer Ken Brinsden.
Day 1 will wrap up with a panel discussion hosted by Ms Wulff and featuring John Forwood (Lowell Resources Fund), Tony Locantro (Alto Capital), Mr Widdup and Bell Potter Senior Resource Analyst David Coates.
Day 2 will begin with a presentation from Mr Widdup and conclude with a keynote address from “Kochie.”

Organisers are expecting a strong turnout with nearly 700 people already registered for the event, which includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea, as well as networking drinks with the MDs at the end of both days.
