Resolution Minerals Moving Quickly to Follow Up Gold Discovery at Horse Heaven Project

Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) is fast-tracking follow-up drilling of a significant gold discovery at its Horse Heaven project in Idaho after a large near-surface gold discovery highlighted its significant precious metals potential.
While Horse Heaven’s critical minerals upside has recently been attracting global interest, the early stages of Resolution’s first drill program at the Golden Gate prospect shows there is also a high-value gold opportunity.
The maiden drill hole intersected 189.2 metres at 1.30 grams per tonne of gold from 34m, with mineralisation beginning close to surface and continuing over 223.4m, with multiple higher-grade zones including 12.9m at 2.32g/t from 94.4m and 70.8m at 2.24g/t from 128.8m.
Follow-Up Program
On the back of this early success, Resolution is already in the process of applying for a 50-hole drill permit to further investigate the exciting gold returns.
Chief executive officer of US operations Craig Lindsay is confident the result has confirmed a significant new discovery at the Golden Gate prospect.
“Delivering a discovery intercept of 189m of continuous gold from just 34m depth which bottoms in mineralisation in our very first hole is a tremendous result,” Mr Lindsay said.
“What excites us most is that we’ve confirmed the same style of large intrusive-related gold system that hosts major deposits regionally, including the Stibnite mine just 6km away.”
Multiple Standout Targets
Golden Gate is just one of the multiple standout targets at Horse Heaven, with the discovery hole success – the first material intervals of unoxidised gold mineralisation – the first step in unlocking the project’s broader district-scale potential.
Resolution has now completed its Phase-1 drill program at Golden Gate, drilling 10 diamond core holes for a total of 2,770.6m.
Initial assays from a further two holes from the program are imminent with the results from the other remaining holes to arrive sequentially over the next few months.
The newly proposed 50-hole program will drill permit to follow up on the HH- GG25-002C drill hole and other anticipated results from the other nine holes drilled in the initial program.
Critical Minerals Hunt
Resolution continues to actively investigate the critical minerals potential at Horse Heaven, applying for a permit for a large drill program to test deep extensions of the known mineralisation at the Antimony Ridge target.
The company is currently awaiting on results form a trial of a portable drill rig at Antimony Ridge, where it has also been collecting representative samples of vein mineralisation from surface exposures.
It intends to use these samples to conduct initial metallurgical test work and mineralisation characterisation studies.
