Resolution Minerals’ Horse Heaven Project Continues to Gain Attention Ahead of Key US Meeting

The importance of Resolution Minerals’ (ASX: RML) Horse Heaven project in Idaho has been confirmed with news that Australia’s ambassador to the US, Dr Kevin Rudd, has requested a briefing with the company ahead of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s meeting with President Donald Trump.
With critical minerals and the establishment of a domestic supply chain a key component of the Trump administration’s energy and defense policies, the Horse Heaven gold-antimony-tungsten project has become a major topic of interest since Resolution acquired it earlier this year.
The project’s significant antimony potential in particular is attracting US government interest, with the market dominating Chinese continuing to restrict market access to its supplies.
Comprehensive Dossier
Resolution has confirmed it has completed a comprehensive dossier and submitted it to the Australian embassy in Washington ahead of Mr Albanese’s Oval Office meeting on 20 October.
The document provided Dr Rudd with a thorough summary of the project, including its size, status, and mineral resource value, along with any prospective development and expansion plans the company might have.
The request for the latest status project has highlighted the importance of the project and its contribution to the US critical minerals list for national security.
With Horse Heaven sitting adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ large Stibnite antimony-gold mine and its associated infrastructure, Resolution feels it is in a good position to benefit from a strategic partnership between Australia and the US that supports domestic supply chains.
Growing US Recognition
Chief executive officer of US operations Craig Lindsay said the inclusion of Horse Heaven as part of the requested formal briefing highlights the growing recognition of Australian expertise in advancing mineral supply chains.
The company believes Horse Heaven will be a significant player in the US effort to establish a domestic supply of antimony to support the defence industry.
“The briefing reflects the constructive cooperation between Australia and the US on the development of secure, transparent critical mineral supply chains,” Mr Lindsay added.
Recent Capital Raise
Horse Heaven’s potential as a well-placed supplier of critical minerals to the US was a key factor in the success of Resolution’s recent $25.1 million capital raise.
Resolution has already completed a Phase 1 drilling campaign at Horse Heaven, and now awaits the assay results.
The company is also stepping up other exploration activities at the project, including a large stream sediment campaign and ongoing mapping and rock chip programs.
