Resolution Minerals Hits High-Grade Antimony-Silver-Gold at Horse Heaven Project

Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) continues to highlight the potential of its Horse Heaven critical minerals project in Idaho with further significant results.
A new round of rock-chip and soil sampling from Horse Heaven’s Antimony Ridge target area has returned high-grade antimony and silver, as well as gold assay results featuring the highest grades the company has so far recorded at the US site.
Highlight rock-chip results included 49.8% antimony, 1,420 grams per tonne silver, and 3.12 g/t gold, while a grab sample measured 0.35% antimony, 68.5g/t silver and 4.43g/t gold.
Extensive Sampling Program
The new finds are part of an extensive surface sampling program Resolution is conducting at the Antimony Ridge and Golden Gate targets as it looks to a define a JORC-compliant exploration target.
That work also includes verification of past exploration results and production data from both target areas.
Past trench rock-chip sampling programs from Antimony Ridge’s Lower Trench, Bowl Cut, Ridgetop, and East Trench uncovered significant antimony-silver-gold mineralisation.
More than 60% of the 61 rockchip samples in a 2022-23 program returned results greater than 1.0g/t gold, with peak values of 5.9g/t gold, 19% antimony and 367g/t silver.
Rare Antimony Results
“High grades around 50% Sb are truly rare—and usually reflect crystalline antimony, potentially available for direct shipping ore as an oxide,” senior strategic advisor Steve Promnitz said.
The quality of the results further enhances Horse Heaven’s potential to be a significant critical minerals opportunity as the US looks to develop its domestic production.
Horse Heaven sits directly adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ large Stibnite Gold project.
Enhanced Prospectivity
Craig Lindsay, chief executive officer of US operations, said the results enhance the prospectivity of Antimony Ridge, illustrating the potential of very high-grade mineralisation over an expanded mineralised footprint.
“As we expand outwards from the immediate area of the historic workings, […] Horse Heaven is revealing itself to be a much larger opportunity as we conduct modern multi-disciplined exploration across the project area,” he said.
“Its potential as a very significant antimony, gold, silver, and tungsten project is crystalising.”
Stepping Up Activities
On the back of the promising new results at Antimony Ridge, Resolution is stepping up activities at the site, planning further rockchip sampling, bulk sampling and a drill program.
Resolution is preparing to apply for a permit to undertake Phase 1 drilling at Antimony Ridge in addition to the permitted and ongoing drilling at the Golden Gate target area.
The company is also currently conducting a project-wide stream sediment program.
