Many Peaks Minerals Uncovers Additional High-Grade Gold Intercepts at Ferké Project in Côte d’Ivoire

Many Peaks Minerals (ASX: MPK) is growing in belief that it is onto a sizeable gold find after the latest drilling results from its Ferké project in Côte d’Ivoire.
The latest assay results from six holes in the company’s ongoing diamond drilling (DD) program at Ferké have identified a number of wide, high-grade gold intersections including 75 metres at 6.11 grams per tonne from 427m.
The impressive intercepts came from both extensional and infill drilling of the Ouarigue prospect within the larger Ferké project and form part of the program that Many Peaks has since extended from its original 6,000m to 15,000m.
Significant Gold Discovery
“High-grade gold intercepts at Ferké continue to underpin the likelihood of a significant discovery in progress at our flagship project in Côte d’Ivoire,” managing director Travis Schwertfeger said.
“Our team is pleased to see a strong continuity of gold mineralisation in context of a bulk tonnage target at Ouarigue, and we are excited about the significant underground potential the high-grade intercepts represent for continuing exploration upside.”
Many Peaks is earning into an 85% interest in the Ferke exploration permit in joint venture with local partner, Gold Ivoire Minerals, by sole funding exploration through to a definitive feasibility study.
Odienné Drilling Success
Last week Many Peaks Minerals highlighted its reverse circulation drilling success at the Odienné gold project in the country’s north-west, which further extended gold mineralisation identified in previous air core drilling.
Highlights from the Odienné results included 21m at 1.21g/t gold at the Zone C prospect, which significantly elevated the target’s ranking for follow-up work, while the company also further expanded the Zone A prospect.
Mr Schwertfeger said results from both prospects highlight a significant mineralised structural feature at Odienné that remains open along strike and the company is now planning for a program of ground geophysics to further refine drill targeting.
The 758 sq km Odienne project sits on trend with the 5.4-million-ounce Bankan project owned by Predictive Discovery (ASX: PDI), and Centamin’s 2.16Moz ABC project.
