Cloud-based talent acquisition platform LiveHire (ASX: LVH) has inked a deal with leading Australian energy infrastructure and distribution business Jemena that is expected to generate more than twice the annual recurring revenue (ARR) of its current client average.

The company today announced the enterprise agreement, which will include powering recruitment of all employees across Jemena’s entire operations.

In addition to being the largest gas distributor in New South Wales, Jemena provides electricity to the north and western regions of Melbourne, Victoria.

It also operates gas transmission pipelines including the Queensland Gas Pipeline, Eastern Gas Pipeline and the Northern Gas Pipeline (currently under construction in the Northern Territory), as well as a network of water pipelines in NSW.

According to LiveHire, this latest deal “signals significant progression in the company’s direct sales strategy, given it proves ongoing applicability and adoption of the LiveHire platform with larger enterprises, and the ability of the direct sales team to solve complex solutions for larger clients”.

While the company did not reveal the total value of the agreement, it said in addition to non-recurring upfront revenue, the ARR was more than twice the current average across LiveHire’s clients.

In the company’s September 2018 quarterly report, LiveHire advised its average ARR per client was $27,885, making the value of this deal with Jemena in excess of $55,000.

“Up to now, LiveHire has been very focused on building a platform and architecture for global scale, to satisfy the most innovative practitioners in the market, RPO [recruitment process outsourcing] firms,” LiveHire chief executive officer Christy Forest said.

“As successful RPO implementations continue to accelerate, we have been expanding and mobilising our direct sales channel, to bring the award-winning LiveHire platform to the mid-market of 500-5,000 FTE [full-time employee] companies who primarily manage recruitment through their own internal teams,” Ms Forest added.

Growing client base

LiveHire describes its talent management platform Live Talent Communities as a “proactive sourcing and internal mobility solution” that connects businesses with an ongoing pool of interested, available and quality candidates, which it claims reduces time and hire costs.

This latest deal with Jemena follows several client wins over the last six months, including the announcement of an enterprise agreement signed earlier this month with leading Australasian home improvement business DuluxGroup.

This deal involves powering recruitment for employees across all of DuluxGroup’s brands and operations, which include leading Australian and New Zealand brands such as Dulux (paints), Selleys (sealants and adhesives), Yates (garden care), B&D (garage doors) and Cabot’s (timber care products).

According to LiveHire, the DuluxGroup deal represents more than more than three times the average ARR (valuing it at more than $83,000), plus non-recurring upfront revenue.

Last month, LiveHire announced multiple deals with RPO firm Korn Ferry, as well as a direct enterprise agreement with Vodaphone Hutchison.

In August, LiveHire had secured contracts with seven other clients including Komatsu Australia, Xero, Nissan Australia and Calibre Group.
