Invigor Group (ASX: IVO) has advanced its collaboration with Microsoft after inking a new memorandum of understanding to advance its data-driven pricing and loyalty solutions to the retail sector.

The agreement follows a pilot project earlier in the year where Invigor launched its predictive analytics program Shopper Insights on Microsoft Azure for a major Australian shopping centre conglomerate.

“The completion of a successful pilot project with Microsoft is the catalyst to expand the roll out and deepen the relationship between the two organisations,” Invigor chief executive officer Gary Cohen said.

“Invigor delivers unique data-driven pricing and loyalty solutions to the retail industry which complement Microsoft products such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics365, used by retailers and brands,” Mr Cohen said.

As part of this new agreement, Microsoft will provide Invigor with co-marketing funds and technical training and development resources to support Invigor’s product development and accelerate client adoption of Invigor’s Shopper Insights and Spot Lite programs on its Azure site.

“Microsoft’s large, global network of resellers and customers represents a major growth platform for Invigor,” Mr Cohen said.

“We look forward to accelerating growth opportunities and to building transformational data-driven commerce solutions for retailers and brands of all sizes – leveraging Microsoft Azure and go-to-market capabilities,” he added.

Invigor’s data analytics and insights help its clients identify and pursue growth opportunities to increase profit.

The data offers insights into shopper behaviours and beliefs and Invigor’s programs assist with engagement and loyalty enhancement.

During December, Invigor raised A$1.76 million to assist it with further growth and expansion.

According to the company, its anticipates awarding numerous new customer contracts in Australia and Asia in the coming months.

This follows Invigor securing a key contract earlier this month with a major Asian shopping mall group Ayala Malls.

The contract with Ayala Malls will involve rolling out Invigor’s Insights Visitor module using the mall’s Wi-Fi to offer shoppers secure and simple access to the network which includes social network login, data collection surveys and loyalty program integrations.

Invigor’s platform will provide the mall operator zone-based analysis of shopper movement, foot traffic, paths, dwell time and repeat visitation.

Shares in Invigor had rocketed more than 66% to site at A$0.015 in early afternoon trade.
