FirstWave Cloud Technology (ASX: FCT) has teamed up with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and US-based Corent Technology to launch its software solutions on Amazon’s global marketplace.

The collaboration — which is being supported by $250,000 in funding from Amazon and Corent — will streamline the distribution of FirstWave’s products through the marketplace, enhancing its AI technologies and enabling seamless deployment, provisioning and billing using AWS infrastructure.

It will give FirstWave access to 300,000 monthly active Amazon customers and over 2,500 channel partners who utilise the marketplace platform.

Intelligent scanning

Employed by over 130,000 organisations worldwide, Open-AudIT uses intelligent scanning to offer detailed information about the devices on a business’s network, including software licensing, unauthorised devices, configuration changes, capacity utilisation and hardware warranty status reports.

NMIS helps with fault, performance and configuration management within a network and provides valuable information for information technology planning.

CyberCision allows service providers to offer high-quality cybersecurity packages to business customers at scale, potentially opening the door to low-cost revenue opportunities.

FirstWave has already commenced development work on the Open-AudIT, NMIS and CyberCision software products and expects to launch the first products into the marketplace within the month.

AI-driven solutions

FirstWave chief executive officer Danny Maher said the Amazon-Corent partnership would monetise the 150,000 organisations currently using its free-tier software and deliver options to upgrade to AI-driven compliance solutions through the Amazon marketplace.

“We are moving at full speed to bring our technologies to market, marking a major step in a larger strategy to scale our global presence through AI-powered automation for compliance management,” he said.

“Having the support of one of the world’s leading software companies showcases the strength of our technologies and opportunities for growth.”

“Amazon’s marketplace will remove key friction points for new and existing customers and give us access to a much broader global distribution channel.”
