Environmental technology company Envirosuite (ASX: EVS) has secured a strategic partnership with global air quality monitoring specialist Aeroqual to develop joint marketing opportunities in new sectors.

The agreement outlines a framework for a packaged offering comprising Envirosuite’s EVS Omnis cloud-based environmental management software platform and Aeroqual’s air quality stations and monitors to be marketed across the mining, waste and wastewater industries.

Headquartered in New Zealand, Aeroqual offers an air quality monitoring platform based on smart sensing technology and advanced software algorithms.

It will deliver high quality, validated data streamed onto EVS Omnis to help customers manage operational outcomes, minimise environmental risk and improve transparency.

Aeroqual has offices in the US and China and clients including AngloGold Ashanti and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

It currently partners with Envirosuite on projects in Spain, Malaysia and the US.

Greater market access

Envirosuite chief executive officer Jason Cooper said the new partnership would give both companies greater market access and leveraging of combined technologies and expertise to drive revenue and customer traction.

“We are excited to expand our opportunity potential with Aeroqual to complement EVS Omnis and provide expertise and combined solutions for advanced air quality management and intelligence,” he said.

“We believe this partnership has the potential to help industries transform their environmental management practices and accelerate their growth.”

EVS Water solution

Earlier this month, Envirosuite announced its new EVS Water SeweX solution had entered the “most exciting phase to date” in its development with the securing of initial commercial customers and sales.

A proof-of-concept project with WA’s Water Corporation kicked off during the September quarter to monitor the state’s sewer network and provide insights to reduce future costs of odour and corrosion management, improve efficient asset allocation related to safety, and extend network life.

Mr Cooper said it was a critical project which would provide an important case study for future global sales of SeweX.

“The opportunity pipeline for EVS Water has continued to grow, with further upside expected as our sales teams expand during the current quarter,” he said.

“We expect to deliver material growth in annual recurring revenues for EVS Water products as we close some additional important reference deals.”

EVS Water has a current serviceable addressable market of $2.8 billion.
