Enlitic and GE HealthCare partner to revolutionise AI-driven medical imaging migration

Data management software developer Enlitic (ASX: ENL) has secured a strategic collaboration with GE HealthCare to revolutionise large-scale artificial intelligence (AI)-driven migrations for medical imaging data.
The deal builds on a master services agreement already in place between Enlitic subsidiary Laitek and GE HealthCare.
Enlitic anticipates the partnership will help streamline application migrations, enabling healthcare providers to more efficiently adopt GE HealthCare’s newest enterprise imaging and picture archiving and communication system (PACS) solutions.
Ensight migration tools
GE HealthCare will use Enlitic’s Ensight medical software to embed AI automation and data intelligence into migration tools for its cloud and on-premise solutions.
The collaboration will provide a scalable, secure and high-performance migration framework for GE customers while improving data quality, accessibility and efficiency.
AI-powered migration tools will clean, curate and enhance imaging data quality, using Enlitic’s proprietary high-performance migration engine for large-scale imaging workloads.
Data management shift
Enlitic chief executive officer Michael Sistenich said the GE partnership represented a shift in the way healthcare organisations approach data management.
“We are moving beyond conventional migrations, enabling healthcare providers to move to the cloud with confidence.”
“This collaboration is not just about efficiency,” GE HealthCare’s Scott Miller added, “it is about revolutionising how healthcare providers access, analyse and act on their data.”
While specific details are being finalised, Mr Sistenich said the deal would demonstrate a shared commitment to innovation, intelligence and impact in healthcare data management.
AI-powered software
Enlitic uses AI to develop software for managing radiological data, including magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography scans, X-rays and ultrasounds.
The company then licenses the software to healthcare providers.
Enlitic began commercial engagement with new and existing customers after releasing Ensight 2.0, the latest version of its data standardisation software, in June 2024.
