Healthcare data analytics company Enlitic (ASX: ENL) has secured agreements with three global partners to commercialise an updated version of its Ensight medical software.

The company has inked deals with European medical diagnostic systems maker Esaote, Japanese medical care technology distributor Clairvo Technologies and US hospital data migration and archiving software supplier DataFirst.

These new agreements, expected to broaden Enlitic’s global market reach and allow it to access new customers, follow recent distribution deals signed with Biotronics 3D and Testdynamics.

Data management software

Enlitic uses artificial intelligence (AI) to develop software for the management of radiological data including magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography scans, X-rays and ultrasounds.

The company then licenses the software to healthcare providers.

Enlitic began commercial engagement with new and existing customers after releasing Ensight 2.0, the latest version of its data standardisation software earlier this month.

New features include enhancements to AI data models, DICOM-structured reporting – the international standard used for transmitting, storing, processing and displaying medical imaging information – and health level 7 outputs comprising a range of global standards for the transfer of clinical and administrative health data between applications.

Road to commercialisation

Enlitic chief executive officer Michael Sistenich said the new partnerships were considered milestones along the road to commercialisation.

“These agreements unlock the door to even more of our estimated total serviceable market,” he said.

“We recently accelerated our development roadmap with the release of Ensight 2.0 to expand the capability of our suite of available use cases.”

“These global partners will serve as an extension of our salesforce, bringing greater reach and deeper local knowledge.”

He said the company would continue to “drive the expansion of our global network” to deliver better outcomes for more customers.

The Esaote and DataFirst agreements are for a period of three years each, while the Clairvo deal is for an initial 12 months and will automatically renew for subsequent one-year terms, up to a total of ten years.
