Eden Innovations ASX EDE Strong FY26 Demand Surges Optiblend Fuel-Saving Kits
Copied

Eden Innovations (ASX: EDE) has received a $230,000 order for three OptiBlend dual fuel system kits to retrofit into CAT 175-16 diesel-powered generators at a US data centre.

The technology allows a conventional diesel engine to operate on a mix of up to 65% natural gas and 40% diesel fuel without modifications to its fuel system—lowering fuel costs, reducing carbon dioxide and diesel emissions, and increasing genset run-time by up to 300%.

Eden has previously supplied OptiBlend to original equipment manufacturers including Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, Volvo Penta, and Mitsubishi.

Surge in Orders for FY26

Eden’s US subsidiary has received orders worth approximately $698,000 for immediate delivery of nine OptiBlend kits to new and existing US data centre customers.

Along with an unrelated $49,000 purchase order from a US court, that brings total orders for the past two weeks to approximately $747,000, representing 80% of the company’s OptiBlend sales for FY25.

When including outstanding OptiBlend orders of approximately $467,000, the $1.21m total value of current purchase orders awaiting delivery and installation exceeds total FY25 sales by 30%, with eight months in FY 2026 still remaining.

For the year ending 30 June, the company sent out $4.6 million in OptiBlend quotes to prospective customers, and has arranged a further $1.69m in quotes since the start of the new financial year.

Data Centre Demand

Analysts project US data centre demand will grow at an annual rate of between 20% and 25% through to 2030, driven largely by AI and cloud computing.

Forecasts estimate a potential $1.5 trillion investment in new data centres across the country during that time, with Eden expecting significant benefits through the uptake of its OptiBlend dual fuel kits.

Eden said the rapidly-growing North American data centre market — coupled with the demand for OptiBlend, as demonstrated by the increasing value of quotations and orders over the past 15 months — bodes well for a continued increase in OptiBlend sales in the near to long-term.
