dorsaVi signs three-year deal for ViSafe+ software with mining health leader SANO Health

Motion analysis device developer dorsaVi (ASX: DVL) has landed a new three-year deal worth $30,000 per annum with leading mining health group SANO Health.
The two companies have collaborated for five years on injury prevention and the new agreement will see dorsaVi supply its ViSafe+ Premium technology to 10 SANO consultants across remote mining sites.
ViSafe+ supports workplace safety by reducing musculoskeletal injuries with its advanced analytics and wearable tech, fostering safer work behaviours and providing data-driven insights for proactive safety strategies.
Wearable sensor technology
dorsaVi supplies SANO Health with wearable sensor technology to measure movement and muscle activity for their clients as they undergo daily tasks.
SANO Health uses empirical data to provide risk mitigation strategies that lead to improved health, safety and well-being for its clients.
dorsaVi chief executive officer Andrew Ronchi said the partnership would help shape ViSafe+ enhancements for high-risk industries like mining and transport, while allowing the company to offer risk and ergonomic solutions to a wider audience in Australia and the global mining and transport market.
Unique insights
Mr Ronchi said SANO Health’s knowledge and experience working in high-performance environments provided organisations with the opportunity to reduce the risk of injury and improve health.
“SANO Health captures unique insights from front-line industry tasks and designs injury prevention programs to suit specific organisations,” he said.
dorsaVi expects the ongoing relationship with SANO to allow it to optimise the ViSafe+ technology in line with industry needs in Australia, the US and Europe.
Remote mine sites
The SANO Health team transmits data from some of the most remote regions of Australia, a process that demands the highest level of stability, reliability and robustness to support heavy industries like mining and transport.
“Our team at SANO Health uses the ViSafe+ technology on a daily basis to assess job tasks and provide real-time feedback and recommendations,” SANO Health chief executive officer Matt Hornsby said.
“In real time, we can advance workgroup knowledge and safety whilst also collating a library of data for each job task.”
“Across many years now, we have data showing the impact of our programs on reducing musculoskeletal injuries—the ViSafe+ product plays an important part in these results.”
