Camplify Expands Flood Recovery Housing Partnership with NSW Government

Camplify Holdings (ASX: CHL) has secured an extension of its at-home caravan program with the New South Wales Government, part of a $50 million housing support initiative by the Albanese and Minns governments.
It will see caravans deployed to flood-impacted residents across the Mid North Coast and Hunter regions, allowing them to remain on their land during home repairs.
Camplify has been confirmed as the appointed provider of caravan assets for the expanded scheme.
Uninsured Homeowners
Camplify will supply the vehicles to homeowners and primary producers whose uninsured homes have been left uninhabitable by severe flooding.
The initiative, which aims to deliver safe, immediate housing solutions as part of the state’s broader recovery efforts, represents the second major deployment of Camplify’s services for government disaster relief accommodation.
The company previously ran a pilot program in Woodburn and a major rollout across 15 local government areas, which delivered 626 vehicles for an average 12-month stay.
Supporting Community Recovery
Camplify chief executive officer Justin Hales said the agreement highlights the importance of keeping residents connected to their land and community.
“The ability for residents to remain connected to their land and community while their homes are repaired is invaluable for recovery,” he said.
Mr Hales added that the company’s national network of recreational vehicles is uniquely suited to disaster response.
“This expanded agreement underscores the vital role Camplify’s network plays in providing immediate and practical support, building on our successful track record in previous disaster responses,” he said.
Camplify remains committed to supporting recovery efforts and will continue to leverage its platform to meet housing needs during emergencies.
Broader Platform Reach
The company operates in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands through its Camplify, MyWay and PaulCamper brands.
Its peer-to-peer platform connects caravan, campervan and motorhome owners with hirers, providing flexible accommodation and travel solutions.
The extension of the NSW partnership marks another example of Camplify adapting its business model to serve both recreational and critical housing needs.
