Boss Energy Targeting Growth on the Back of Global Uranium Sector Upswing

Boss Energy (ASX: BOE) is well placed to take advantage of any positive developments within the global uranium sector, following its global successes at Honeymoon in South Australia and Alta Mesa in Texas.
Boss has a 30%-interest in Alta Mesa where production during the June quarter jumped from 98,000 pounds of the uranium compound U308 in the previous quarter to 204,000 pounds.
Alta Mesa operator enCore Energy is continuing to introduce operational efficiencies as it further expands uranium extraction and decreases costs.
Ramping up Honeymoon
In South Australia, Boss continues to ramp up production and output at its 100%-owned Honeymoon operation.
The company recently reported strong quarterly growth with an 18% increase in U3O8 drummed of 53,000 pounds and 60% growth in production of 149,000 pounds.
The company expects to continue that growth in the current quarter.
Positive Nuclear News
Managing director Duncan Craib told attendees at the 2025 Diggers and Dealers conference currently in progress that all this growth comes as a number of positive nuclear developments are occurring internationally.
Mr Craib highlighted growing support for the US Nuclear Fuel Security Act by the Department of Energy aimed at accelerating uranium and nuclear development.
He also noted that China continues to rollout new reactors, while nations like India, Japan, Canada and France are all bullish on nuclear power growth.
Accelerating Exploration
To ensure Boss is able to take advantage of future global growth, the company is undertaking a significant expansion of exploration activities in SA.
The company is examining a number of satellite deposit opportunities as part of its exploration program aimed at increasing production rate and extending mine life.
Boss completed infill drilling at the Gould’s Dam and Jasons satellite deposits during the recent June quarter, hitting a number of significant intersections, and also engaged AMC Consultants to finalise a mineral resource update for the two that it plans to release this quarter.
Those in attendance also heard that Boss is fast-tracking the hunt for exploration targets around the Honeymoon operations.
