Boss Energy Appoints Matthew Dusci New CEO as Strategic Review Continues

Boss Energy (ASX: BOE) has promoted highly experienced Matthew Dusci to transition to the role of managing director and chief executive officer of the uranium mine developer.
As many expected, Mr Dusci is stepping up from his role of chief operating officer to succeed Duncan Craib in the top job, effective immediately.
Mr Dusci has more than 25 years of experience across the mining industry, including executive positions with leading Australian miner IGO and senior management roles with a number of other firms.
Well-Qualified Leader
“Matt has extensive experience as a project operator and resources executive, making him well-qualified to lead Boss,” chair Wyatt Buck said. “He has done an excellent job [with us] over the past year, and has a thorough understanding of Boss, our projects, and the global uranium market.”
Mr Dusci will initially focus on completing a previously announced operational review and FY26 production guidance for the company’s Honeymoon uranium operation in South Australia.
Boss initiated the review in late July 2025 after operating data identified some variability in mineralisation and leachability relative to previous feasibility study estimates for the project.
The company has already incorporated additional in-situ leach mining experts to support the review.
Shareholder Value a Priority
Mr Dusci said it would be a great privelege to lead Boss.
“Creating value for shareholders in the years ahead is a priority as we seek to capitalise on opportunities within our global asset portfolio.”
“I would also like to express my gratitude to Duncan, with whom I have been working closely over the past year, and wish him all the best for the future,” he added.
Mr Craib will continue to support Boss under a consultancy agreement through to 1 January 2026, at which point he will join the board as a non-executive director.
Boss also holds a 30% interest in the operational and rapidly expanding Alta Mesa uranium project in South Texas.
