Beamtree Holdings partners with NHS Confederation to launch UK-wide hospital analytics platform
Healthcare data solutions provider Beamtree Holdings (ASX: BMT) is expanding its global presence through a strategic partnership with the NHS Confederation in the UK.
The NHS Confederation, which represents approximately 120 NHS trusts, is a membership organisation that supports and speaks for the healthcare system in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Beamtree expects to launch the new five-year Evolve Collaborative, which includes a five-year extension option, by the end of 2025 and revenue to be generated from early 2026.
Successful model
Beamtree is aiming to replicate its successful ANZ membership model within England, Wales and Northern Ireland’s NHS hospital sector.
The company will deliver and maintain the analytics and benchmarking platform, while the NHS Confederation will be responsible for selling the membership subscription and managing the peer-to-peer learning communities.
The partnership agreement highlights the strengths of each party by providing NHS trusts with membership subscriptions that include access to the analytics platform as well as peer-to-peer learning communities aimed at improving the quality and safety of patient care.
‘Substantial commitment’
Beamtree estimates its investment over FY25 and FY26 will total $1.5 million.
“This partnership represents a substantial commitment to the UK market — a cornerstone of Beamtree’s growth strategy — and provides valuable frontline insights into member hospitals’ challenges,” the company said.
“These insights will guide Beamtree’s continued UK expansion and the development of tailored solutions to address specific customer needs.
Advanced analytics
Beamtree delivers advanced analytics and benchmarking services to nearly 200 hospitals across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the Middle East.
The company has made significant investments in developing a state-of-the-art platform that enables cutting-edge predictive analysis designed to enhance hospital performance.
Annual membership to Evolve will initially cost A$105,000 (£50,000) per annum for each hospital trust, with Beamtree receiving the first A$1.05m (£500,000) of membership income in its entirety to cover the cost of establishing the platform in the UK.
From that point onward, the two parties will share all revenue equally.
