White Cliff Minerals Identifies New Mineralised Zones at Rae Copper Project in Canada

White Cliff Minerals (ASX: WCN) has identified new mineralised zones and depth potential at its Rae copper project in Nunavut, Canada.

The latest drilling successfully tested the depth potential of copper mineralisation at the project’s Danvers 1 target, confirming it to a down-hole depth of 188 metres.

The program has expanded the known size of the deposit, with a hole located outside the NE extent of the historic footprint returning multiple zones of copper that included 64m at 0.89% copper from 128.02m.

Higher-grade zones of 6.10m at 1.45% copper and 7.6 grams per tonne silver from 150.88m and 9.144m at 2.65% copper and 11.8g/t silver from 178.31m were also identified.

Danvers 1 remains open along strike and at depth.

Dual-Pronged Strategy

The drilling at Danvers is part of the company’s dual-pronged plan to expand the known surface area of the deposit while guiding exploration towards high-grade, high-tonnage sedimentary targets.

Recent digitisation of historical data and 2025 drilling by White Cliff has also identified further copper mineralisation outside and below the previous estimate.

The company is preparing to return to the Rae project in 2026, with Danvers being advanced as a near-term development opportunity.

Mineralisation at Danvers 1 now sits at 950m strike length, 375m of which represents the previously released non-JORC compliant estimate of 4.16million tonnes at 2.96% copper.

Vertical Expansion Confirmed

Managing director Troy Whittaker said the results had also confirmed vertical expansion of the known mineralisation at Danvers 1, with drilling intersecting 16.76m at 1.28% copper from 185.93m, approximately 60m below the previous level.

"With recent geophysics paving the way for 2026, its pleasing to see immediate validation from this recent drilling with near-surface mineralisation continuing to emerge outside the historic footprint,” he said.

“This combination of depth, grade, and scale is exactly what we look for in a growth-oriented copper project.”

The company also identified new, untested mineralised zones close to surface, coincident with an adjacent geophysical anomaly.

“2026 is shaping up to be an exciting and value-defining year for White Cliff shareholders,” Mr Whittaker added.
