Native Mineral Resources Delivers Record Gold Pour at Blackjack Operations

Key points

  • Record pour: 1,474.9 oz gold at Blackjack.

  • Six bars; latest pour highest ever.

  • $10m+ revenue; next pour by mid-Feb.

  • Mine restart at Blackjack; drilling resumes.

Native Mineral Resources (ASX: NMR) has completed its largest gold pour to date at its Blackjack gold operations in Queensland, producing six gold doré bars totalling 1,474.9 ounces on 28 January.

The record smelt marks a strong start to 2026 and follows a 178.7oz doré pour earlier in the month, continuing a run of improving operational performance at the site.

The 28 January smelt comprised six doré bars ranging from 195.44oz to 268.05oz, representing the highest single pour achieved at Blackjack to date.

Earlier pours returned refinery assays of 63.05% gold on 22 December 2025, and 60.09% gold on 7 January 2026, with assay results from the latest pour expected within approximately one week of collection.

To date, the company has received more than $10 million in gold outturn revenue, inclusive of the January production.

Native Mineral Resources expects the next gold pour at Blackjack by mid February, as mining activities ramp up following completion of a mine design review, saying that the increasing size and frequency of pours reflect improving operational stability and grade reconciliation at Blackjack.

Operational Restart at Blackjack Pit

Following completion of a mine design and operating strategy review, Native has recommenced drill and blast activities at the Blackjack pit, marking the start of the next phase of its open-pit mining execution.

Mining is scheduled to begin next week, supporting sustained mill feed availability and underpinning continued gold production.

The company has also renewed its technical services team—strengthening mine planning, scheduling, geology, grade control, and survey capabilities to support safe and repeatable execution.

On the tailings front, TSF Stage 3 Lift works are nearing completion and certification, while Stage 4 Lift design and a new tailings storage facility development workstream are underway.

Regional Growth Pipeline

At the Podosky prospect, part of the company’s Ravenswood gold project joint venture with Haoma Mining, drilling is scheduled to commence next week following completion of field preparations.

Native said the program supports near-term mining and production activities across its broader regional portfolio.

At the Far Fanning deposit near Charters Towers, development planning and enabling works continue, with the project remaining on track for mining in the fourth quarter of 2026 as part of the company’s long-term mine plan.

The company has also commenced integrated short-, medium- and long-term strategic planning across its Charters Towers assets—including Granite Castle, Great Britain, Blackjack, and joint venture leases—to align drilling priorities, mine sequencing, approvals, and infrastructure development.

Chief executive officer Blake Cannavo said the record pour demonstrates growing momentum at Blackjack and reflects the company’s focus on converting early success into consistent, repeatable performance.
