InFocus Group (ASX: IFG) has completed development of its proprietary sweepstakes casino platform Codexa, marking a milestone in the company’s expansion into the iGaming technology sector.
The platform has entered final testing ahead of a planned global technical preview launch within weeks, positioning the company to begin commercialisation in a rapidly growing segment of the online gaming market.
Codexa has been developed as a full-featured platform incorporating a proprietary random number generation engine, blockchain-verified fairness and artificial intelligence-driven player personalisation.
The system is built on a cloud-native architecture designed to support high levels of concurrent users, with the company targeting institutional-grade performance standards.
The platform is structured to be deployed as a white-label solution, enabling operators to enter the sweepstakes casino market without the time and capital investment typically required to build comparable infrastructure.
Dual-Track Commercialisation
Codexa represents the first major output from the company’s IFG iGaming business unit, which it established in late 2025 to pursue opportunities in the sector following earlier work developing gaming platforms.
InFocus is pursuing two parallel pathways to monetise Codexa, centred on both recurring revenue generation and potential asset realisation.
The first pathway involves licensing the platform to third-party operators under white-label and managed services agreements, providing ongoing technical support and platform management.
The second pathway involves a potential outright sale of the Codexa platform or the IFG iGaming business unit to a strategic acquirer, reflecting current deal activity in the sector and demand for fully developed platforms.
Market Opportunity Underpins Strategy
The company is targeting the US sweepstakes casino market, which generated approximately US$3.4 billion in net operator revenue in 2024 and continues to expand rapidly.
Industry data indicates the sector has experienced strong growth in recent years, supported by regulatory accessibility and increasing consumer adoption of mobile gaming platforms.
Sweepstakes platforms operate under a different legal framework to traditional online gambling.
This allows access across a broader range of US states, enabling operators to build large user bases.
Technical Preview Launch
InFocus plans to launch a limited technical preview of Codexa as a live sweepstakes platform in the US to demonstrate functionality and generate operational data to support licensing and potential divestment discussions.
The company's sole role is that of platform developer and operator of the technical preview—its primary objective remains the licensing or sale of Codexa to third-party operators as it seeks to capture value from its investment in iGaming technology.
