Immuron (ASX: IMC) announced a strong third quarter for its Travelan product, driven by double-digit growth in Australia and significant sequential improvement in Canada.
Australia proved to be a standout performer for Immuron in the third quarter of FY26, with Travelan sales in the country reaching AUD 0.9 million, marking a 15% increase compared to the prior comparable period.
Year-to-date March 2026 sales in Australia climbed 14% to AUD 4.2 million.
This robust growth is attributed to increased awareness and consideration through digital and social media marketing campaigns.
Furthermore, the company noted same-store growth from promotions and new or returning customers, alongside expansion into new stores within FY25 banner groups.
Increased travel to South East Asian destinations also contributed to demand.
Canada Shows Sequential Improvement
Canada demonstrated significant sequential improvement, with Q3 sales reaching AUD 0.1 million.
This represents a rise of more than 100% compared to the prior comparable period and an 82% increase from the previous quarter.
The uplift follows a pipeline fill into over 1,000 Canadian retail doors in Q1 FY26.
Despite this positive quarterly momentum, Canada's year-to-date sales for March 2026 are down 65% compared to the prior comparable period.
This indicates that a difficult baseline from the previous year is impacting the overall year-to-date comparison, despite recent gains.
US Sales Steady, Facing Headwinds
In the US market, Travelan sales for Q3 reached AUD 0.5 million, a modest 1% increase against the prior comparable period.
Year-to-date March 2026 US sales grew 10% to AUD 1.3 million.
Immuron noted that while an improved Amazon.com store presence and increased social media marketing efforts contributed to growth, a strengthening Australian dollar against the US dollar largely offset these gains.
Globally, Immuron reported strong sales momentum for Travelan, with total sales for Q3 amounting to AUD 1.5 million, a solid 16% increase over the prior comparable period.
For the year-to-date period ending March 2026, global sales reached AUD 5.7 million, an increase of 7% compared to the prior comparable period.
Outlook Hinges on Sustained Momentum
Immuron's Travelan continues to show robust growth in Australia and sequential recovery in Canada, supporting overall global sales increases.
However, the company must navigate persistent challenges in the US market and address the difficult year-on-year comparisons in Canada to maintain this upward trajectory.
Future performance will depend on sustained marketing effectiveness and further retail channel expansion.
