Greenvale Energy Enhances Regional Discovery Potential of Oasis Uranium Project

Key points

  • Sentinel-2 widens Oasis with helium/radon/chlorite signals.

  • Nine priority zones; seven extra signal areas.

  • Permits filed; 2026 regional targets.

Greenvale Energy (ASX: GRV) has enhanced the exploration and discovery potential of its Oasis uranium project in Queensland with a regional-scale Sentinel-2 multi-spectral data acquisition over the entire landholding.

The data revealed multiple helium and radon (gas) and chlorite (alteration) anomalies that correlate with previous magnetic, radiometric, and surface geochemical results.

The anomalies also coincide with key structural intersections between north-south and northeast-southwest oriented structural sets.

Helium and radon are indicators of uranium mineralisation in many hard-rock deposits, while chlorite forms a key part of the biotite schist hosting known uranium mineralisation at Oasis and is considered a potential geochemical indicator for regional exploration.

Nine Priority Areas

Greenvale has identified nine priority exploration areas where the Sentinel-2 data correlates with radiometric and structural targets identified by earlier prospectivity analysis.

An additional seven areas of potential interest have also been defined due to their coincident helium, radon, and chlorite anomalism, along with similar features of interest identified from regional geophysical data.

The combined interplay of structure, radiometrics, geochemistry, and multi-spectral anomalism is similar to that observed at the main Oasis deposit.

This gives Greenvale increased confidence in the potential of the broader project area to deliver intrusive-related uranium discoveries.

Regional Target Development

Chief executive officer Alex Cheeseman said the addition of Sentinel-2 data provides another vectoring tool to maximise the opportunity for success at Oasis.

“While much of our exploration effort has so far been focused on or around the Oasis deposit itself, there has also been constant regional target development going on in the background,” he said.

“We have invested time and effort to build a pipeline of quality targets ready for the start of our 2026 exploration effort.”

“Beyond the known deposit, the broader Oasis region has been underexplored, so we are excited about the opportunity to make regional discoveries and ultimately build the project’s scale potential.”

The company has submitted permitting notices to commence the next stage of exploration, with an immediate focus on ground-truthing and further development of these key regional targets.
