Dart Mining Records Highest Gold Results to Date at Banshee Antimony Mine

Dart Mining (ASX: DTM) has reported assays from its Coonambula antimony-gold project near Eidsvold in central Queensland, with results including the highest single gold assay so far at the Banshee antimony mine.

Coonambula is a farm-in joint venture with Great Divide Mining (ASX: GDM), with Dart completing 1,354 metres of diamond core drilling across 11 holes at the Banshee prospect.

Assays have been received from two holes to this point, with Dart expecting more results over the next few months as batches leave for the laboratory every 14 days.

Logging, cutting and sampling of outstanding drill holes is underway, with samples from the first 1,900m of the program anticipated to be sent to the laboratory before the Christmas break.

Broader Mineralised Gold Zones

The standout result is 0.5m at 18.30 grams per tonne gold from 184.5m, surpassing the previous highest drill assay of 1m at 14.45g/t gold from 18m.

Broader gold zones containing antimony mineralised zones include 6.5m at 5.1g/t gold and 0.15% antimony from 180m, incorporating 1.5m at 7.32g/t gold from 182.5m, as well as 1.0m at 6.38g/t gold and 0.92% antimony from 185.5m.

Additional significant intercepts include 1.4m at 2.00g/t gold and 0.97% antimony from 134m, featuring 0.3m at 7.33g/t gold and 4.40% antimony from 134.5m, along with 1.0m at 2.15g/t gold from 175.5m.

The thick gold mineralised hydrothermal breccia at the base of the second hole points to the possibility of a significant gold rich system.

Drilling during this program will test if the gold zones extend towards surface and create an increased target zone with significant shallow gold potential.

Next Steps and Resource Development

Dart and Great Divide will progress farm-in exploration at Coonambula, including completion and interpretation of induced polarisation survey results.

Diamond drilling assay results will be reported as they are received – with all remaining results from 2025 work expected in February 2026 – and continue to drill and test the Banshee antimony and gold mineralisation trend.

The companies will refine the drill plan based on results of the induced polarisation survey, then develop a 3D model and declare a JORC resource at the earliest possible opportunity subject to drill results.

Chair James Chirnside said the mineralisation controls are becoming clearer and more consistent at Coonambula.

“These assays show that the stibnite zones are within the broader gold zones, and compliment previous results from hole CBADD001,” he said.

This style of mineralisation is proving a good pathfinder – with the gold in sericite alteration around quartz veining – and we're keenly awaiting assays from some of the drilled and logged drill holes closer to the Banshee pit where thicker zones of stibnite and intense sericite alteration have been intersected."
