- 01Cash inflow was $1.44m; cash grew to $11.3m, debt-free.

- 03Forward bookings rose 26% quarter-on-quarter to $21.1m.
Camplify Holdings (ASX: CHL) generated $1.438 million in net operating cash inflow during the September quarter despite weaker travel demand across several of its markets.
The recreational vehicle rental marketplace finished the quarter with $11.3m in cash, up from $10.0m at 30 June, and no debt.
Unaudited core revenue fell 16% against the prior corresponding period to $6.65m, while gross transaction value declined 27% to $26.4m.
Forward bookings nevertheless rose 26% from the June quarter to $21.1m as the group prepared for the Australian and New Zealand summer holiday season.
Staff expenditure of $2.8m, administration costs of $1.8m, and marketing outlays of $0.9m were in line with or slightly below budget, while payments to RV owners followed booking volumes.
Australian Market Holds Firm
Australia proved more resilient than the group’s other markets, with GTV slipping just 4% against the same quarter last year.
Higher fuel prices weighed on demand in July and August across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, contributing to a decline in activity broadly anticipated by management.
Forward bookings remained 17% below their level a year earlier, with customers increasingly reserving vehicles closer to their intended travel dates.
“The first quarter played out broadly as we expected, [as] higher fuel prices in July and August weighed on travel across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe,” managing director Justin Hales said.
“Australia held up well, our cost base is steady, and we built cash through the quarter—we remain on track to deliver our expected results for the year.”
Profitability Reset
The positive quarterly cash result follows a substantial operating reset that returned the group to positive EBITDA in the 2026 financial year.
Full-year EBITDA reached $0.3m following an EBITDA loss of $10.4m in the preceding year, with the second half contributing $3.5m of EBITDA and $2.3m in net profit after tax.
MyWay Mutual, the member-owned discretionary protection arrangement introduced in Australia and New Zealand in May 2025 to replace external insurer arrangements for participating owners, was a major contributor.
The mutual paid $2.7m in claims during the 2026 financial year, achieved a 99% approval rate for decided claims, and recorded a 68% loss ratio.
The business plans to improve claims turnaround times, extend member benefits, and explore bringing the mutual model to Northern Hemisphere markets.
Membership Expansion Drive
The group is extending its relationship with vehicle owners beyond individual hires through Club Camplify and its Camplify Xchange sales marketplace.
An arrangement with JB Group is intended to introduce Club Camplify membership packages to buyers of new vehicles across several caravan brands, creating another pathway for member acquisition.
Camplify Xchange connects buyers and sellers of caravans, motorhomes and campervans, including vehicles available to try through the rental platform before purchase.
The platform had 493 live listings, more than 1,200 listings since launch, and 12 dealer partners at the time of the investor update.
For the 2027 financial year, management is prioritising profitability, positive cash flow, cost discipline, and renewed growth in core markets while expanding member services and improving operating efficiency.
