Arika Resources Unveils Promising Gold Finds at Yundamindra Project in WA

Arika Resources (ASX: ARI) has successfully extended high-grade mineralisation at the Landed at Last prospect’s F1 fault.
Landed at Last is part of the Yundamindra gold project located 250 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie toward the westernmost margin of the Laverton Greenstone Belt in the Yilgarn Craton of Western Australia.
Yundamindra is a joint venture between Arika and Nex Metals Exploration (ASX: NME), where Arika is project manager and holds 80%.
Wide Zones of Strong Mineralisation
Arika launched the ongoing 10,000m drilling campaign in June following its highly successful capital raising of approximately $5 million.
The majority of reverse circulation (RC) holes Arika has so far completed at the F1 fault have returned wide zones of strong gold mineralisation and/or anomalism within the targeted intervals.
Drilling has also confirmed the presence of gold mineralisation continuously over a strike length of at least 400 metres and to around 120m vertical depth below surface, with the system remaining open along strike and at depth.
Highlight hits from Arika’s recent step-out RC drilling at F1 included 4m at 41.56 grams per tonne gold from 52m down-hole.
Extended Depth and Strike
Managing director Justin Barton said the recently upsized drilling campaign is off to a great start.
“Together with the Landed at Last mineralisation, this system now extends for over 1.3km along strike and remains open in all directions, further highlighting the potential upside of the Yundamindra project,” he said.
“Importantly, this is just one of a host of under-explored prospects along the 10km-long ‘Yellow Brick Road’ mineralised corridor that we are now methodically and systematically testing.”
Further Prospect Drilling
Arika has undertaken drilling at the Bonaparte prospect and will finish testing the Banjo’s Camp prospect, before moving onto a number of other priority target areas at Yundamindra.
At the same time, the company’s geophysical consultants are assessing data a drone-supported aeromagnetic survey recently collected from the southern half of the Yundamindra area, along with results from ultra-detailed aeromagnetic and ground gravity surveys undertaken at Pennyweight Point
Arika will use results from the survey to further refine target selection prior to future drilling.
“This is an exciting time for the company and shareholders as we unlock the significant value of the Yundamindra and Kookynie projects,” Mr Barton added.
