Antipa Minerals (ASX: AZY) has confirmed a significant new gold-copper discovery at its 100%-owned Minyari project in the Paterson province of Western Australia.

Early assay results from the first batch of 66 holes the company completed as part of its ongoing CY2025 Phase 1 drill program have identified a new, extensive shallow high-grade find at Minyari.

The Phase 1 program will comprise 288 holes for 34,000m, incorporating air core, reverse circulation and diamond core drilling (including diamond core tails).

Strategy validated

Managing director Roger Mason said that, while the assays received to date represent only approximately 30% of the current program, they already validate Antipa’s dual-track exploration strategy at the Minyari Dome tenement package.

“These latest results represent further exploration success, expanding known mineralisation at multiple Minyari Dome deposits while simultaneously uncovering several new discoveries,” Mr Mason said.

“In particular, the newly defined gold-copper zone south of Fiama and Rizzo represents a step-change for the broader Minyari gold-copper project, while the extensions to GEO-01 and Minella reinforce our confidence in the scalability of the existing resource.”

Dual-purpose exploration

Antipa has designed the dual-purpose exploration program to grow the existing mineral resource at multiple Minyari Dome deposits and test greenfield targets to deliver new discoveries.

The existing near-surface Minyari Dome mineral resource currently stands at 2.4 million ounces of gold including 1.7Moz at 1.6 grams per tonne in the Indicated category.

The company has focussed on extending the resources at Minyari South and across the GEO-01 footprint—including at the Main Zone, Minella, Fiama and Central gold deposits, all of which remain open down-dip and in some cases along strike.

Drilling results to date indicate mineralisation remains open at the GEO-01 Main Zone, GEO-01 Central, Fiama, Minella, and multiple prospects.
