Aldoro Resources (ASX: ARN) has intersected thicker semi-massive and disseminated magnetic sulphides in another hole at the VC1 target at its Narndee Igneous Complex nickel-copper and platinum group element project in Western Australia.

This latest intersection follows priority assays from earlier drilling at VC1 revealing 1.65m at 0.93% nickel, 0.15% copper, 0.07% cobalt and 0.22 parts per million palladium from 212.75m, including 0.4m at 1.05% nickel from 214m; and 3.8m at 0.78% nickel, 0.46% copper, 0.06% cobalt and 0.26ppm palladium from 146.4m, including 0.1m at 2% copper and 1.03g/t palladium from 146.75m.

Aldoro noted that all seven holes drilled at VC1 have returned “significant zones of magmatic sulphides”.

“This confirms VC1 as a significant discovery and demonstrates the high prospectivity of the Narndee Igneous Complex,” the company stated.

Aldoro has completed down-hole transient electromagnetic surveys of six holes that were drilled into VC1.

VC3 target

Aldoro is also drilling the VC3 target within the project.

A pXRF was used to evaluate mineralisation hit within the target from 380m down hole and returned copper and nickel readings.

Aldoro is considering deeper penetrating geophysical techniques such as large loop high powered electromagnetics to assess the potential of the area between VC1 and VC3.

Upcoming work will involve drilling another hole near to where the best mineralisation was uncovered.

The rig will then be moved to the VC11 target, which shows similar lithological and geophysical characteristics to VC1.

Narndee Igneous Complex

Aldoro’s wholly-owned Narndee Igneous Complex project is located in the Narndee-Windimurra Complex.

The project has 16 high value targets for Aldoro to explore further.

Targets have been generated using multiple layers of modern geophysics work.

Aldoro’s other projects are located in WA and include the Cathedrals Belt nickel project, the Leinster nickel project, the Windimurra Igneous Complex, which is believed prospective for nickel-copper-PGE and lithium.

The company is also actively pursuing a rubidium footprint at its Niobe tantalum-lithium project near Leinster.
