Recruitment technology provider AD1 Holdings (ASX: AD1) has signed a deal with the New South Wales government to further enhance the iworkforNSW careers platform and accompanying mobile apps.

The project follows an extended managed services contract signed last June including the ongoing hosting and maintenance of the iworkforNSW platform, which was designed for the state government more than five years ago. AD1 had also committed to provide related digital services under the contract.

The NSW government has developed a digital design system for use across all government websites. The system requires digital assets to meet the upgraded technical and content accessibility requirements in order to ensure an enhanced online experience that better supports people with disability.

The iworkforNSW platform is regarded as an important digital asset for the state government and as such, will be enhanced to align with these design and accessibility guidelines. The update will be extended to the iOS and android applications.

AD1 chief executive officer and managing director Prashant Chandra said the company is very pleased with the opportunity to assist the state government achieve this objective.

“We understand this project to be an important initiative for the NSW government in progressing work on the Premier’s priority target of employing more people with disability in the public sector and to drive alignment with other NSW government digital products,” he said.

“The platform was first implemented over five years ago and has successfully provided jobseekers with a destination platform for employment with the NSW government.”

AD1 has also renewed a multi-year managed services contract with the Victorian government to manage its state careers platform. The states are the two largest employers in the country.

March quarter results

Today’s news follows last week’s release of the March quarter report, which saw the company post an 80% increase in cash receipts from customers of $1.53 million.

The quarter comprised new customer and project wins including a multi-year $10 million deal signed with energy retailer Locality Planning Energy, which is expected to increase AD1’s recurring software-as-a-service and managed services revenue by 50% for the year.

The company also entered into $2 million of debtor, trade and term loan facilities with Australian fintech Moneytech Finance.
