Telecommunications provider Swift Networks (ASX: SW1) continues to provide positive company performance milestones with news it has acquired a host of new clients to its books.
Earlier today, Swift announced it had won multiple contracts to provide its award-winning suite of entertainment and connectivity services to a further 1,336 rooms, located at new and existing resources sites across Australia.
Ausco, NT Link, Anglo Gold, Iluka and Tronox have all agreed to various levels of service from Swift thereby expanding its overall client list and further entrenching its dominance of resources sector staff logistics.
Recent contract wins have included multi-year deals with Pilbara Minerals, Talison Lithium and Altura Mining to provide services and entertainment content to lithium mine camps in Western Australia.
In a separate deal secured via DXC Technology, Swift has been tasked with providing a broad range of services including entertainment, messaging and alerts, welfare and training material, free to air television and pay TV integration.
In total, Swift’s services are running at more than 335 sites (approximately 65,000 rooms) across the mining, oil, gas, aged care, retirement village and hospitality sectors.
“These new contracts showcase the ‘best in class’ nature of the Swift solution in the resources market,” said Xavier Kris, CEO of Swift Networks.
“Swift is proud of the fact that 93% of all customers signed by the business since its inception in 2008 remain with the business today. Signing these new and expanded contracts with existing customers and partners demonstrates that the Swift solution meets and exceeds market expectations time and time again,” added Mr Kris.

NT Link has awarded Swift a contract to provide its suite of services to 4 x 140-room camps at the Northern Gas Pipeline project in the Northern Territory.

Iluka and Tronox
Swift has been tasked with completing onsite infrastructure works and deploying its communications and digital entertainment solution to Iluka Resources and Tronox, two major resources giants in the mineral sands and titanium industries, respectively.
These multi-year agreements see Swift provide ongoing services to a total of 416 rooms across 2 camps at Cataby in Western Australia.
The deal marks the first project with Iluka and the second contract with Tronox.
Anglo Gold has signed a 12-month extension for 662 rooms at Anglo Gold Ashanti’s Tropicana facility. Anglo Gold has also expanded the contract to include 160 additional rooms to which Swift will provide content, support and communication services.
Ausco has engaged Swift to refit a 200-room fly camp in order to increase the standard of services to match those provided by Swift at the adjacent 500-room Amrun Village construction camp.
This contract follows Swift’s successful deployment of services for Ausco supporting Rio Tinto’s Bauxite project in Weipa, Queensland in 2017.
